New Delhi: Axis Bank Charges: If you have a salary or savings account with Axis Bank, then there is bad news for you. Axis Bank has announced to make many of its services expensive from 1 May. In this, the charges on withdrawing cash from ATM have been increased from the minimum balance charge.
So, let us tell you one by one that Axis Bank has increased how many charges for its various services.
Axis Bank increases cash withdrawal charges
You can do cash transactions up to four times a month from ATM, there will be no charge on it, although it should not be more than 2 lakh rupees. After 4 transactions, the bank charges you 5 rupees for every cash withdrawal of 1000 rupees, from May 1, now 10 rupees will be charged instead of 5 rupees.
Charge on minimum balance increased
The average balance for easy savings scheme has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 in metro cities. The monthly average balance limit for Prime and Liberty Savings Account has been increased from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000. If this balance is not maintained after May 1, then a charge of Rs. 10 per 100 rupees will be reduced.
However, the bank has reduced the minimum charge from Rs 150 to Rs 50 for this. But the maximum charge has been increased from Rs 600 to Rs 800.
Changes in the rules of salary account
Axis Bank has also changed the rules of salary account. If your salary account is more than 6 months old and there is no credit in any one month, then a charge of Rs 100 per month will be charged. At the same time, if there is no transaction in your account for 17 months, then in the 18th month, a charge of 100 rupees will be taken at one time. Apart from this, PAN / Form 60 details, date of birth update, change of address, change of email ID, transfer accounts will have to pay Rs 100 fee.
SMS alert charge increased
If you want SMS alert for your transaction, then Axis Bank will charge 25 paise per SMS for this. Currently charges Rs 5 per month. Explain that it will not include OTP and promotional SMS sent by the bank. This new rate will be applicable from 1 July 2021.
